This house is ideal for a large family or group of friends wanting to be close to Bournemouth and Poole town centres and the many beaches in the area. It also provides easy access to Studland and the Purbecks plus the New Forest National Park.
It's located on the main route between Bournemouth and Poole, so there are plenty of buses plus Branksome railway station nearby if you want to use public transport. Penn Hill, Ashley Cross and Westbourne are within walking distance / a short taxi ride away and offer many great bars and restaurants for socialising with friends.
The house is a traditional but spacious home over 3 floors. It's clean, well-maintained and homely. The open fire in the lounge area makes the social space particularly warm and cosy on darker winter nights.
Access is to the whole house and garden area except for a small cupboard on the top floor where linen is stored, and shed where gardening equipment is kept.
Please note there are 2 sets of stairs - all bedrooms are on the first and second floor. All guests will need to be able to climb stairs or be happy to stay in the lounge on the Laura Ashley metal-action double sofa bed.
Bedroom 1 (first floor) is a small double en-suite (shower) room which can easily accommodate a travel cot if required.
Bedroom 2 (first floor) is a larger room with a double bed and a single bed. This room can also accommodate a temporary bed (2'6" mattress) or travel cot.
Bedroom 3 (first floor) is a master bedroom with a double bed and a temporary bed (2'6" mattress). This room can also accommodate another temporary bed (2'6" mattress) or a travel cot. If required, both temporary beds can be away to make space for 2 travel cots.
Bedroom 4 (second floor) is the same size as bedroom 2. It's a larger room with a double bed and a single bed. This room can also accommodate a temporary bed (2'6" mattress) or travel cot.
Bedroom 5 (second floor) is a standard size double room with a double bed and a single bed.
Lounge (ground floor) - there is a double metal-frame sofa-bed that can be used for guests with mobility concerns. Please note, there is a WC on the ground floor but no bathroom.
The lounge-diner has just been opened up and redecorated to create a fantastic integrated social living space for you to really enjoy your time with family and friends in the house. There are 3 sofas seating 8/9 people plus extra chairs, 4 stools and the large dining table with benches and dining chairs. Patio doors lead out onto decking and into the garden.
The kitchen is a large room with big windows looking straight out onto the garden area. It's fully equipped with everything you need to cook and cater for large groups. There's a gas hob, electric double-oven, washing machine, dishwasher, American fridge-freezer and microwave as well as kettle(s), toaster and lots of pots, pans and baking trays.
The garden flows out from the dining area onto the decking and then drops down onto a large middle decked area where you can enjoy a great garden dining experience. The bottom deck then drops down into the grassy garden space which is great for the kids to play outdoor games.
During your stay you can enjoy unlimited broadband WiFi, a TV with DTV and a DVD player plus DVDs, games and books to keep everyone entertained during your downtime together and build some great bonds and memories.
2 x Family Bathrooms offering bath with shower over, WC and basin. One bathroom is on the first floor and the other is on the second floor.
1 x e-suite shower room in bedroom 1.
1 x shared WC and basin on the ground floor.
Driveway parking is available for 2 vehicles. One space is for a larger vehicle and the other space fits a smaller car.
On-road parking is available in the road opposite the house, and is unrestricted, unlimited and free. Houses in this road have their own large driveways so roadside spaces are usually available close to the house.
