Great facilities including toilets (with full disabled facilities), showers, ice-cream kiosk and  hot-dog/burger bars as well as the Sandbanks Beach Café  offering hot / cold meals and drinks throughout the year. There are also several kiosks and shops selling all the usual beach goodies such as inflatables, buckets and spades etc. Sandbanks general store, cafe and Rick Stein's restaurant are across the main road, and there's a Tesco Express selling hot and cold food by Shore Road.

There's a wide selection of watersports available for a variety of age ranges and abilities including parascending, inflatables, “Bronco's” or “Ringos”, kayaks,  jet-ski hire and much more. Also super watersports lessons available for children from 8+ years. Based in the car park / play area at Sandbanks.

Keep younger family members happy with a visit to the play area. There is climbing equipment and swings for children of all ages from toddlers to 10 years old.

Come and test yourself at Sandbanks Crazy Golf, the South Coast’s best crazy golf course. Bring friends and family to take on 18 unforgiving  holes. Next to the main car park, by the children’s play area.

RNLI provide beach safety in Poole. Lifeguards are on duty  during the summer months; from 1 May to 30 September every year, from 10am to 6pm. Designated bathing areas are marked out on the beach using the RNLI's red and yellow flags. These flags indicate the area patrolled by  lifeguards. 

There's a large car park (532 spaces / 5 disabled) and on-road parking at Sandbanks. Charges are quite high  although you are parking right on the beach so you don't have too far to  carry all of your beach equipment. When the weather is good, the car park fills up quickly.
